Josep Pastor obtained both his bachelor’s degree and doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Barcelona Autonomous University (UAB) and has been a professor of Medical Pathology at the UAB Faculty of Veterinary Medicine since 1991. He is also currently co-director of the Hematology Unit in the University’s Department of Animal Medicine and Surgery. He attained diplomate status from the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology in 2002 and has authored several veterinary textbooks, as well as numerous articles for both national and international journals. His main areas of interest are hematology, clinical pathology and small animal oncology.
