Stacie C. Summers

Dr. Summers is board certified in small animal internal medicine and is currently an assistant professor at Oregon State University. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University and completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Veterinary Specialists in Colorado. She then continued her education with a feline infectious disease research fellowship at Colorado State University (CSU) with the Center of Companion Animal Studies. Her PhD work was on novel etiologies and the role of the gut microbiome in cats with chronic kidney disease (CKD), and her current research focuses on feline medicine, urology and the microbiome.
