Daphne Westgeest

Daphne Westgeest studied Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. After graduation she started her career as a companion animal veterinarian in New Zealand before moving back to the Netherlands to work in a private clinic, where she had a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and also in the business aspects of veterinary practice. Seeking a new challenge, she joined Royal Canin Benelux in 2018 as a Scientific Affairs and Communication Advisor. Daphne strives to contribute to the health and wellbeing of companion animals worldwide and has been actively involved in the WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) as both a member of the Continuing Education and Congress Steering Committee, and the WSAVA Foundation.
